The Documentary Film programme is focused on the auteur concept of the creative documentary. During the two-year studies, the students are guided to find their author’s or directorial voice and develop their factual storytelling skills. Each semester supports the development of both authorship and technical and analytical skills. Students create one short documentary each semester and complete their studies with a final film.

Digital Learning Games is an interdisciplinary programme that combines game design with educational sciences and psychology. Studying cross-media means learning how to tell a story that unfolds in many directions. Imagine a story that is introduced on social media, then expanded on to television or VOD, and then further explored as a live performance and an exhibition. Today's employers are looking for people being able to create content, but also know the audience and are able to approach the projects analytically.

The Master of Urban Studies is a two-year, English-language program focused on rethinking contemporary urbanism. The program combines history, theory and practice, drawing on critical approaches in planning, geography and architecture. It is aimed at students who want to contribute towards a more equitable future. Key themes include infrastructure, urban nature and housing.

The MA animation programme focuses on helping students realize themselves as animated film authors. As our master students come from very different parts of the world and have different educational backgrounds we try to encourage their individual approach to filmmaking.
