The Center for Middle East and North Africa Studies (CMENAS) at Binghamton University coordinates the study of the Middle East, North and Sudanic Africa, and European countries that have extensive Islamic contact. The Center develops and integrates research and graduate and undergraduate instruction about the MENA area.

This course is designed to teach the process of physical therapy examination. The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) model of health and health-related domains will be utilized to develop a general framework for physical therapy examination across systems.

Overview of health development across the lifespan followed by an examination of common conditions that typically begin in certain stages. Each condition will be examined for its individual, group and systemic impacts.

An introduction to the biological basis of behavior and cognition. Includes theoretical and practical foundations rooted in psychology, biology, neuropharmacology, and clinical sciences (e.g., neurology and neuropsychiatry).

The Archaeology minor provides students with a basic understanding of how archaeologists study and reconstruct the past. Such training is relevant to students in a wide variety of fields, including history, art history, classical studies, medieval studies, Judaic studies, African American studies and Middle Eastern and North African studies

In our intensive English program, you can experience life in the US and study academic English to prepare for your university degree or future career. We offer high beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of instruction with 18-20 hours of class per week. You will share classes with students from all over the world, including Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South & Latin America, and the United States. The Allied Health Department offers courses for those interested in health care. These courses can be helpful in deciding to do a subsequent major in a health-related field or in meeting requirements for other majors.

This one-year curriculum will cover three broad areas: historical, theoretical, and skill-based music courses (musicianship, technique classes, and performance ensembles). These courses are intended to give the student a complete introduction to a course of study in music, culminating in a department award in Music.

Addresses the specifics of new product and service development and fostering innovation and technology to increase performance. Topics include generating and screening initial ideas; assessing user needs and interests; forecasting results; launching and improving products and programs; and bringing innovation to commercial reality.

The Bio-Medical Sciences Department Award recognizes achievement by students interested in careers in the allied health fields, physical/health education, recreation and sports technology. Core courses consist of Human Anatomy, Human Physiology and Medical Microbiology. In addition to the core curriculum, students may select 18 units of electives from an approved listing of courses in biology, anthropology, art, chemistry, physical/health education, recreation and human biology. The courses are selected in consultation with the Faculty Adviser for Bio-Medical Sciences. The Faculty Adviser will then submit this program of study to the Biological Sciences Department for review and approval. To qualify for the Bio-Medical sciences Department Award, students must complete each of the courses in the approved program of study with a grade of "C" or better, It is important that the student pursuing a Bio-Medical Sciences Department Award consult with the Faculty Adviser early for program approval.

Our Academic Study Abroad Program (ASAP) is specifically designed for eligible international university-level students to enhance their educational experience by studying in ASAP for 1, 2 or 3 quarters. While in ASAP, students have the opportunity to enroll full-time alongside matriculated UC Irvine students in credit-bearing UC Irvine courses and UC Irvine Continuing Education courses. ASAP does not offer any course accommodations or application assistance related to students' admission to their future degree programs.
