This course offers progression onto higher education degree level courses and a chance to change your career and prospects. The ARC provides care for a selection of resident exotic animals and small mammals, but also provides assessment and care for a wide range of presenting native wildlife casualties e.g. hedgehogs, seals, otters, birds of prey and garden bird species, co-ordinating the rehabilitation and intended release of these animals as appropriate.

The T-Level in Media, Broadcast & Production is a level 3 course that combines skills development with work experience. It will equip students to gain an apprenticeship, work within the media or study media or a media-related course at degree-level. T-Levels are new, two-year technical study programmes. The media, broadcast and production T-Level is designed with the needs of employers in mind. This course is taught by Emily Younger, who established Folklore Children Clothing. Emily has lots of experience working with textiles and is our sewing machine expert. Using our sewing machines, you will not only be shown how to do the basics, but you will also progress onto different techniques.

The Foundation Degree in Marine Biology and Rehabilitation will give you an overview of marine biology, ecology, and conservation as well as practical skills in ecology, aquatic animal health and husbandry, and the rescue and rehabilitation of marine life. You will investigate marine habitats and biodiversity from estuaries to the deep ocean, explore how a range of marine organisms and ecosystem's function, examine the threats they face and critically evaluate how to conserve them.
