Foundation Learning courses are designed to give you the skills to progress to Level 2. This course is made up of two qualifications: Level 1 Certificate in Business (September to December) and Level 1 Certificate in Travel and Tourism (January - June).

This level 1 course in Music and Media is designed to provide students who are intrigued and motivated by music and the creative arts with opportunities to explore, develop and test their creativity. Also to progress to further study and training in a range of music, media & perfoming arts disciplines.

The course includes workshop-based practical training in plumbing skills, together with practical assessment, theory tuition and theory assessment. You will also improve your key skills in numeracy, literacy and ICT.

This is a theory based course with some practical elements for students who are looking for an introduction into working as cabin crew. You will study 6 compulsory units which help prepare you for the industry. This course could also lead to further study at Level 2 or Level 3 and provides a good basis for further qualifications.

This practical, work related course will prepare you for a career working in the applied science industry or an organisation that uses science to develop underpinning knowledge and scientific skills. It is equivalent to 4 GCSEs at grades A*-E and provides a good basis to go on to more advanced qualifications.

This two-year course is equivalent to 3 A Levels and covers the fundamentals of science, working in the science industry, scientific investigation and practical techniques, perceptions of science and application of numbers.

This is a new two-year full-time course designed in collaboration with employers, suitable for post-16 students looking to develop both knowledge and practical skills in the health sector. The T-Level in Health is designed to give you the knowledge and understanding of contexts, concepts, theories and principles relevant to the Health sector.

This two-year course is equivalent to 3 A Levels and is designed to help you extend your understanding of the performing arts, develop your performing skills and learn new ones in our purpose-built performance spaces. It combines practical assignments and the study of variety of performance arts disciplines. You will work on production projects and be involved from backstage to front-of-house.

The Basic Construction Skills qualification is designed to offer an introduction to the construction industry and will prepare learners to progress to higher level related qualifications in the construction sector.
