4 Robotics Course Programs

The Seasonal School will introduce participants to the urgent topic of textile-based robotics, providing them with interdisciplinary tools to design robots based on textiles, how to leverage the unique properties of these materials to devise wearable and non-wearable robotic tools, and for the understanding of their role in human empowerment, combining engineering, biomechanical, clinical, and regulatory aspects.

The Robotics Minor prepares the General Engineer interested in robotics or autonomous systems (like self-driving cars) through dedicated courses in robotics, unmanned vehicles, robotic control, and autonomous systems. Advanced topics in the areas of artificial intelligence and machine learning for robotics systems will be explored. The Bachelor of Robotics program at Saint Francis University is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the rapidly evolving field of robotics. The program focuses on the integration of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering principles to design, develop, and implement robotic systems. Students will gain hands-on experience and engage in interdisciplinary learning to prepare for careers in automation, manufacturing, healthcare, and beyond.

Department of Robot System Engineering teaches various areas regarding robotics such as kinematics, automatic control, computer engineering, and computer science, to educate students to become engineers in the areas of robot including industrial robot, service robot, and underwater robot.
