3 Private Pilot License Course Programs

The Private Pilot Certification Course will be the student's first introduction to modern aviation. Applicant will receive a minimum of 35 hours of flight training and 70 hours of ground and/or classroom instruction.

Associate degree students will sequentially earn the private pilot certificate, instrument rating, commercial pilot certificate, and multiengine rating during the program. There is also the opportunity to earn flight instructor certificates for airplane, instrument, and multiengine.

The CCBC Aviation Academy is the only program in the UnitedStates that offers high schools students the opportunity to explore Professional Pilot, Air Traffic Control, and Aerospace Management career paths.
