The course in Film - Creating and Producing is a two-year international film education with the opportunity for you to get certification in Steadicam and go on study trips abroad. We are at the forefront of technology, which means that you get access to equipment according to industry standards and a modern Virtual Production studio, which is unique in Sweden.

For one month each year, 15 selected participants co-direct a series of 3-5 minute documentaries with OTOXO Productions. These shorts are distributed to festivals & media outlets around the world and streamed on the OTOXO platform. For these reasons alone we demand the highest quality of work from our participants and provide them with the highest quality of training to ensure it.

The One Year Film Program is an intense and thorough expediated course that provides a solid platform to explore new dimensions in the field of International Media and Entertainment. This course prepares students for the burgeoning media field, and to be successful in the professional international world of Visual Media.

Do you have a flair for dance, acting or fine art? Let your creativity shine through by selecting courses for a semester in Arts and Culture. Students who wish to pursue courses within these fields will be equipped with the necessary skills to enable them to formulate deeper interests and knowledge in theatre, dance and related fields such as film, television, advertising and teaching and/or preparation for pursuing research degrees (for students wishing to enter academia). Students will be exposed to the educational contexts of arts and culture and will explore some of the key discourses in Dance, including Dance and Cultural formation, History and Aesthetics. Coursework will be by seminars, practical workshops, engagement with on and off campus dance groups, conferences, and symposia. This one-year curriculum will cover three broad areas: historical, theoretical, and skill-based music courses (musicianship, technique classes, and performance ensembles). These courses are intended to give the student a complete introduction to a course of study in music, culminating in a department award in Music.

The Online Music Theory Diploma course is available for students from all backgrounds. We have active courses starting from Grade One to Grade Eight, leading to the related London College of Music certification.

The Film and Media Studies Department at Santa Barbara City College offers a wide variety of courses designed for film majors and interested non-majors who wish to enhance their knowledge and appreciation of film and media as part of their undergraduate education. Students are exposed to a vast array of films from the classic to the contemporary, including both American and international works.

The Prague Film School Acting for Film Program offers an intensive, conservatory-style curriculum instructing both the art and the craft of acting for the camera. While the vast majority of acting courses worldwide train students for theater, it’s screen acting that offers the bulk of career opportunities. It’s also screen acting that allows actors to engage with the largest audiences, across time and geography.

The Film and Television Production Program seeks to inspire and empower students to study and work in an industry that they are passionate about, furnishing them with the skills and knowledge to create meaningful careers in the film and television industry. Santa Barbara City College provides a supportive learning environment for students to succeed via our curriculum in Film and Television and hands-on production classes. Students are taught industry-level production skills, media literacy, and critical thinking skills that prepare them for college transfer or entry into the industry. Students will have an opportunity to earn a Film, Television, and Electronic Media (AS-T) for Transfer Degree or a Film Production Associate in Arts (AA) degree.

Each year, 15 individuals are given the opportunity to co-direct a 60-minute documentary with OTOXO Productions to be screened on BTV. Simultaneously, participants are provided with an intensive nine-month training course covering all elements of documentary studies and production. Following this, the participants are given three months of training focused on becoming film industry professionals, whilst at the same time, they follow these steps and become film industry professionals in their own right.

Prague Film School filmmaking programs provide foundation training and specialization studies in the areas of screenwriting, directing, cinematography, and post-production. Combining lectures and practical work in the classroom with an intensive production load outside of class, Prague Film School inculcates the practical skills and theoretical knowledge to make quality films.

The Documentary Film Program at Prague Film School aims at creating an independent documentary filmmaker. Through intensive practical and theoretical work, each student learns how to adapt the narrative tools of drama to tell truthful stories about the real world that simultaneously entertain, educate, and inspire audiences. The course is designed to develop professional-level production and post-production skills.

This Film and Television Production Accounting Basic Skills micro-credential course will give students practical experience with compiling key accounting documents and reports that are specific for the film and television industry. As mid-career professionals in the film and television industry, students will adapt their skills to work in the production accounting department, or for mid-career bookkeeping or accounting professionals in other industries to adapt their skills for the film and television industry.

The Film and Television Production Management Basic Skills micro-credential will familiarize students with the work that an entry-level trainee would expect to perform in a production management department. The credential encompasses the basics expected of a Trainee Assistant Production Manager and exposes them to all phases of production.
