This Evidence for public health responses: Statistical Methods in Epidemiology course is designed to equip you with advanced statistical skills crucial for informed decision-making in public health. This course delves into essential methodologies for planning epidemiological field surveys, conducting sample size calculations, and analysing complex survey data in Stata to address pressing public health challenges.

The Core Course in Public Health and Health Equity is a three-month course that prepares you to systematically analyse and address complex public health issues, covering epidemiology, health system aspects, and broader social determinants of health. The course focuses on health equity in low-resource settings and high-resource settings with disadvantaged populations. It can be taken as a stand-alone course or as part of the Master of Science in Public Health and Health Equity. IMPORTANT: This new Core Course in Public Health and Health Equity/NTC is a merger of the former Core Course of Public Health (MPH) and the Netherlands Course on Global Health and Tropical Medicine (NTC) will start from September 2024.

This two-week fully online course offers an introduction and overview of digital health, including a strong emphasis on how in reality, digital health functions in various settings. Participants will discuss how digital health interventions can help push the triple aim of Universal Health Coverage and Sustainable Goal Development for more people at a lower cost in different settings in high-, low- and middle-income countries. The program discusses what kind of analysis should be done for developing digital health intervention, which stakeholders.

In this course you will learn how to use GIS to identify patterns of disease in time and place and to assess public access to health care services. This course explores the key principles of SRHR through different themes such as sexual health, prenatal, perinatal and postpartum health, safe abortion, sexuality of young people and adolescents, early pregnancy, early marriage and sexual and gender-based violence. The course also discusses ways to improve equitable access to sexual and reproductive health and HIV services for disadvantaged populations, discussing quality, voice, accountability and participation.
