It requires students to “read, write, and translate the world.” Global Cultural Studies courses combine the strengths of the social sciences, the humanities, and creative practice, by drawing on interpretive methods and theories from literary and translation studies, cultural anthropology, history, sociology, media studies, film studies, journalism, communications, economics, and more.
