The School of Italian for Foreigners program this year-round provides Italian language and academic preparation for international students who want to improve their Italian for university admission or career advancement. LUM offers online courses so you can improve your language skills from home. Also, online courses carry academic credits.

He presents the Sabana Languages program to the International Center for Foreign Languages and Cultures of the University of La Sabana and invites them to start their training process in foreign languages. You can choose between: English, French, German, Portuguese and Italian!

Our Italian online courses are designed to adapt to your needs. Have your Italian experience delivered at your own home. The Leonardo da Vinci School offers online Italian courses meeting all your needs and providing maximum time flexibility. Lessons are held in different bands, both in the morning and in the afternoon (GMT + 2). The lessons are taught on a professional and free platform.

We offer Italian language and culture courses, on campus and at a distance, which are among the most famous in Italy. They aim at fostering linguistic interaction in Italian between students and teachers, and imply an active involvement in one of the most interesting and authentic Italian towns - Perugia. Even when at a distance, all courses are held "face to face" (synchronous lessons), therefore with the active involvement of the students.

In our Italian courses in Berlin the most important thing is the student, that’s why we work in reduced groups. Our teachers analyse the needs of our students to develop the contents of the course.

The study of Italian in the target language encourages students to gain a deep appreciation of the language, culture, and literature through active participation and meaningful experience with the culture on its own terms. Italian courses at Williams are therefore conducted exclusively in Italian in order to enhance and reinforce the emotive and cognitive involvement of the students as they are introduced to the Italian worldview in a lively and natural manner.

The study of Italian language, literature, and culture brings into proximity humanistic tradition and global concerns. The excellent language training Wesleyan students receive serves as the base from which to explore Italian history, culture, and society from the Middle Ages to the present. The rich and renewing curriculum enables students to develop and refine capabilities Wesleyan has defined as essential. Those capabilities that Italian Studies fosters and increases include writing, speaking, interpretation, intercultural literacy and effective citizenship, skills that are in service to a variety of professions and courses of study.

The part-time Italian course consists of two weekly sessions of one and a half hours and is directed both towards students that want to study Italian for the first time and those that want to improve their knowledge of the language. The course is available on 4 different levels; beginner, elementary, intermediate, and advanced and lasts a minimum of 8 weeks, which can be extended.

The Italian Standard Course is the most popular among students, which is ideal for those wishing to study Italian and have free time to dedicate to tourism and extracurricular activities. Inside the classroom with the help of the teacher, students discover the overall functioning of the Italian language and study of the four language skills of speaking, reading, writing and listening. The six levels of the Italian Standard Course run throughout the year.

Acquire conversational skills in languages other than English. These courses are based primarily on the acquisition of conversational skills. These courses are geared to the potential tourist, business person and those wishing to improve communication with friends or family who have a non-English speaking background.

A new interdisciplinary perspective on diverse aspects of Italian Culture with a focus on intercultural competence, global citizenship, leadership and fluency in Italian Language. Whatever the field in which you are interested, the Italian Cultural Studies major leads you to explore how your own intellectual pursuits may intersect on a plurality of levels with Italian language and culture in order to prepare you for life after college as a global citizen. The program offers internships in Italy in fields like economics, pre-law, communications, global health, museum studies, computer science, and music and provides opportunities for leadership and service on and off campus.

The Intensive Italian Language Course is our standard course and consists of 4 Italian lessons a day, totaling 20 lessons a week. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes.

The main goal of the Department of German Studies and Italian Studies at Smith College is to offer a program of study that provides opportunities for students to acquire both proficiency in Italian and a good appreciation of Italy’s rich cultural tradition. All members of the Italian department are seriously committed to the idea that learning a foreign language is an inherent part of an undergraduate education. We are convinced that if we teach our students a language within a cultural context, we are broadening their minds and opening them up to the possibility of a variety of interpretations of life. We feel that this will assure them access to Italy's rich cultural offerings in literature, in art, and in music, to name just a few.
