Plumbing and Heating Technicians are in demand throughout Alaska, in both urban and in rural areas. As a result, graduates of the Plumbing and Heating program enjoy excellent job opportunities and good pay. Plumbing and Heating students receive basic training in construction and maintenance of plumbing and heating systems.

The Building Services Engineering for Construction (Electrotechnical Engineering and Plumbing and Heating Engineering pathways) are two year T Level qualifications that are equivalent to three A-levels and carry the same amount of UCAS points. You will spend 80% of your time in college studying a variety of core subjects such as design principles, construction methods and project management, along with your chosen specialisms. The remaining 20% of the time is spent on a work placement to gain experience of the industry. The course can lead to university, a higher/degree apprenticeship or employment.

The Air Conditioning Technology Program concentrates on teaching students how to design, build, and maintain advanced climate control systems, such as heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.

The HVAC/R–MAR Technician Program provides installation, repair, and maintenance training for the heating, ventilating air conditioning, and refrigeration. The program also provides installation and repair training for the major appliance industry.

The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration program offers students the training and skills needed to install, service, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Program's mission is to provide specialized classroom instruction and practical shop experience to prepare individuals for employment as entry-level air conditioning and refrigeration technician.
