The last six months, many hospitals have been preparing for the expected intake of COVID-19 patients with considerable effort and commitment. In cooperation with the Clinic for Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (KAI) of the University Hospital of Bonn, EDU has recorded seven modules on COVID-19 in intensive care.

Clinical dentistry in BDS III is when students assume first direct responsibility for the care of patients under close supervision, learning how to perform a range of dental care and applying theory to clinical practice. The transition to patient care commences with an Introduction to Clinical Dentistry course at the start of BDS III in which pertinent health & safety processes, ethical considerations, communication skills are highlighted together with the achievement of several core clinical skills. Students in BDS III are also required to take and pass a Basic Life Support course.

In this course, we educate students and undertake research about principles and advanced technologies related to production, preservation, distribution and consumption of foods, with a focus on marine products. Especially, we comprehensively educate and undertake research focusing not only on securing and improving the safety and healthiness of foods in the chain from resources to consumption, and on improving the functionality of foods from the viewpoints of promoting human health and constancy, but also on developing the designing and performing abilities required for the multidisciplinary development of technologies, from the viewpoints of chemistry, microbiology, physics and engineering, supporting the safety, healthiness and functionality of foods.

The new field of behavioral science seeks to understand how humans think and act within their environments and how policies can shape that behavior. For example, research showing the power of default options on decision making has led to the introduction of “opt-out” policies for decisions like becoming an organ donor or contributing to one’s retirement account, leading to marked increases in participation (e.g., millions of newly eligible organ donors). Across many institutions – governmental, educational, and corporate – effective interventions rely on an understanding of human behavior. Behavioral science has been commonly applied to problems in marketing, health science, financial investing, charitable giving, human factors and environmental design, and education.

In BDS I students learn about the basic medical science subjects, encompassing Human Structure and Function, which include Biochemistry, General Anatomy & Histology and Physiology, with detailed teaching and learning in Head & Neck Anatomy, Embryology & Genetics. Students in BDS I also learn about Biostatistics, Entrepreneurship and an Introduction to Oral Biology and benefit from some reinforced English and Learning Skills teaching to complement their academic studies.

Graduates can take recommendation examinations and/or joint enrolled distributions of nursing category by means of “The United Entrance Exams for Two-year Divisions of Senior College”, or they can continue to study into two-year divisions of senior college, university, or research institutes of medical nursing and related departments of organism either in or out of the country.

The Sports Rehabilitation Center and Physiotherapy Centre have the internationally advanced and domestically first-class teaching, laboratory and scientific research instruments and equipment for sports rehabilitation and prevention and treatment of sports injury, guaranteeing the students make improvement in their practice ability and scientific research level.
