The Academic Year in Interior and Furniture Design trains Designer specialised in furniture able both to create and manage the whole design process of a project focused on space organisation and interior decoration. The education path works on shaping the individual’s design sensitivity, the construction of a personal expressive language, the acquisition of a multidisciplinary culture that combines theoretical and practical aspects.

The Skills Competency Award (SCA) in Interior Design: Part 2 is an advanced course that builds upon the foundational knowledge and skills acquired in Part 1 or a similar introductory program. This program is designed for individuals who want to further develop their expertise in interior design and expand their practical skills in the field.

Whether your interest is in developing a hobby or a full-time career, understanding and learning the processes will give you the confidence to tackle any restoration or conservation project by covering the necessary processes involved in polishing; both on completely new surfaces, as well as cleaning and renewing the old patina found on antique furniture, or the restoration of a period item where you want to retain the old patina and give new life to the surface finish.
