This is a practical, work-related City & Guilds Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Floristry course. It is designed to develop the skills of those working in the floristry industry, who have achieved a Level 2 Diploma in Floristry or equivalent, or who have extensive industry experience. Students attend the college three days per week.

This course is suitable for beginners to floristry and is designed to give you the opportunity to explore your creative side using practical floristry skills and techniques, covering all aspects of floristry i.e. flower arrangements, wedding and funeral work using foam and wiring techniques. (N.B this is not a flower arranging course).

Our intermediate floristry course is designed for those who have completed our Beginners course, or those with other previous Floristry experience (N.B. this is not a flower arranging course). You will build on the floristry skills and techniques learned within the beginners course, working on more complex floral designs. Each week covers a different type of floral design, dependent on flower availability and seasonal themes.

Our Foam Free Floristry Workshop, is a one-day course designed for both floristry beginners and those looking to expand and refine their skills in floral design. Hosted at One Garden Brighton, the picturesque home of our Stanmer Campus, this workshop offers a wonderful opportunity to learn from our expert Plumpton College Floristry tutors and create stunning fresh floral arrangements. During this morning workshop, you'll delve into the art of floral design without the use of foam. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process of understanding which flowers complement each other and how to create beautiful arrangements using floral design techniques that prioritize sustainability and environmental consciousness.
