6 Engineering Management Course Programs

Courses in Engineering put to practical use the discoveries of science and, by so doing, alter our way of life. Because of the narrow scope of many engineering programs, several leading engineering schools cooperate with selected liberal arts colleges to combine the professional training found in the usual four-year engineering curriculum with the breadth of education provided at liberal arts colleges. Such a program requires five years-three years in the liberal arts college and two years in the engineering school.

Covering the major mathematical and scientific principles, this course gives you a great start in engineering, computing and physics. With a focus on maths and physics, you’ll deepen your understanding during this first year of your undergraduate degree. After completing this course, you will continue your studies in our School of Science and Engineering, where you can kick-start your Chartered Engineering or scientific career by obtaining a BEng or BSc that fulfills the accreditation requirements of the Chartered Institute for IT or the British Computer Society (Chartered IT Professional (CITP) or Chartered Engineering (CEng) or Chartered Scientist (CSci).

UTP Stage II: Engineering is equivalent to the first year of the University of Manitoba's Bachelor of Science (Engineering) degree.
