The Electrical Engineering Program trains professionals with high technical skills whose work ranges from projects and domestic installations to the development of power generation and telecommunication systems. In the first two years, students take courses in Mathematics, Physics and Electrical Engineering foundations – including Calculus, Physics, Electricity and Technical Drawing, as well as career-oriented courses, such as Microprocessors, Digital Systems and Mechanics.

Foundation in Electrical Power Engineering

The Electrical Engineering (EE) program at Caltech prepares its students for either graduate study, entrepreneurial careers, or research and development work in government or industrial laboratories. It inspires them to undertake careers and professional practices that provide an opportunity to address the pressing technological needs of society. It accomplishes this by building on the core curriculum to provide a broad and rigorous exposure to the fundamentals (e.g., math, science, and principles of engineering) of electrical engineering. EE's other program objectives are multiple. The program strives to maintain a balance between classroom lectures and laboratory and design experience, and it emphasizes the problem formulation, system-design, and solving skills that are essential to any engineering discipline. Foundation in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

EE's innovative program is designed to provide students with education in electrical engineering with electronics and communications. The goal of the BSEE program is to provide students who are capable of pursuing fulfilling careers in a changing world, to fulfill the undergraduate technical education needs of the Community, Business and Industry of the North Bay region.

The course will give you the skills and knowledge needed to progress your career in the fascinating, challenging world of electrical and electronic engineering. Electrical engineers are sought after worldwide across the private and public sector, from transport to healthcare, and education to construction. We’ll develop your knowledge across a range of core and more specialist units. The course will suit you if you’ve completed relevant studies at an advanced level (A Level or equivalent) or have relevant industry experience and want to pursue a career in electrical and/or electronic engineering.

The University of Mount Union’s minor in electrical engineering degree provides students with hands-on experiences in the application of scientific and mathematical principles utilized to design, manufacture, and control structures, machines, processes, and systems.

Every Olin student gets some basic electrical and computer engineering experience. Students learn basic circuit analysis, design, and testing in Modeling and Control in the first year and work with sensors, data acquisition, and signal processing in Real-World Measurements.

The Building Services Engineering for Construction (Electrotechnical Engineering and Plumbing and Heating Engineering pathways) are two year T Level qualifications that are equivalent to three A-levels and carry the same amount of UCAS points. You will spend 80% of your time in college studying a variety of core subjects such as design principles, construction methods and project management, along with your chosen specialisms. The remaining 20% of the time is spent on a work placement to gain experience of the industry. The course can lead to university, a higher/degree apprenticeship or employment.
