Graphic design thrives in the fine arts setting of Montserrat. Our Graphic Design program offers courses designed to teach designers how to capture ideas and structure information using type, images and sound for a variety of platforms.

Get a global vision of the additive manufacturing process: from the digital modeling of an object to its final 3D printing. Know the basics of 3D design through advanced CAD tools such as Solid Works. Focus the design process to additive manufacturing. Obtain digital models through digitizing techniques such as scanning.

This program lets students master essential skills and critical software for work in graphic communications. All courses are available in a fully online asynchronous delivery. Graduates will demonstrate applied skills in design thinking, digital imaging, digital illustration, graphic communication, 2-D design, and typography. Graduates will also demonstrate foundational competencies with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Designed to complement majors in every department and program, Digital Studies classes (DIG) bridge usual distinctions between the sciences and the humanities, between empiricism and interpretation. Combining theory and practice, DIG courses foster liberal arts practices essential for the 21st century: procedural literacy, data awareness, network sensibilities, entrepreneurial thinking, digital citizenship, information preservation and sustainability, and the ethical use of technology.

Stu­dents learn to design and compile material for print and screen media with emp­hasis on print­making, graphic design, multi­media and digital editing. Stu­dents learn to use software for picture processing, layout and web.

This course is designed to give students a strong introduction to the workflow of creating concept art for the entertainment industry using professional digital tools. Students will be expected to have their own graphics tablet and computer to handle the software used in class. While this course is designed to give students, who have no other digital art background a strong foundation in concept art skills that will help with future digital art courses, the course does not teach basic drawing in a traditional manner.

The Morley College' Adobe Pack' courses are designed to help you get a foot on the industry ladder, aimed at beginners or those wishing to improve their skills for new career opportunities.

Our Computer Assisted Design (CAD) lessons were created with the fashion designer, fashion merchandiser and product developer/technical designer in mind. You will learn basic to advanced lessons including using Adobe Illustrator® for Flats to Adobe Photoshop® for Surface Design.
