This specialisation course will provide you with regulated academic training that is practical and useful for mastering one of the most complex and demanding digestive endoscopy techniques: Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS). The programme includes practical training in leading tertiary university hospitals and offers high-quality education with qualified instructors who are experts in the technique and have over a decade of experience in teaching.

In MEDSKILL - Development of MEDical SKILLs by Simulation as of today, the need for practical skills and problem-solving capabilities remains largely unmet in many medical school curricula across Europe. Medical school education, in fact, remains largely anchored to a traditional paradigm of learning a discrete amount of information about pathophysiology principles and illnesses’ descriptions, without worrying about developing the skills necessary to work confidently "on the patient".

Sonographers are a part scientist and part artist, creating images of the human anatomy and assisting the physicians in a final diagnosis.

The student receives eight hundred eighty (880) hours of didactic and laboratory instruction and eight hundred (800) hours of clinical education, allowing them to apply the lecture topics to practical use.
