Interior design is the practice of space planning and designing interior spaces in homes and buildings.

For international students who wish to spend one or two semesters in Barcelona, the University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia offers elective courses in the fields of business, design, and innovation. On completion, students receive a UVic-UCC certificate with academic credits that their home university may recognize.

The Intensive Course in Interior Design at Accademia del Lusso Milan prepares students to become professionals who are able to invent and create a graphic design for interior spaces using both manual and digital representation tools. The course aims to give students in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical abilities that mean they will be able to identify and coordinate the styles, trends, and materials...

The program follows an open organizational structure that allows flexibility among the different areas of design specialization. In this structure, students choose their own study paths according to their skills and abilities – which are often revealed during the course of their studies. The Design Project modules are responsible for guiding their academic pathway. Each Design Project course must be taken together with three other courses which, combined together, will meet its parallel prerequisites (see figure 1). The prerequisite courses give support to the development of the project and their instructors are responsible for the conduction, organization and evaluation of the student’s project, which should be based upon the content of all courses for the knowledge to be fully achieved.

Graphic design thrives in the fine arts setting of Montserrat. Our Graphic Design program offers courses designed to teach designers how to capture ideas and structure information using type, images and sound for a variety of platforms.

The Object Design and Fabrication Minor goes beyond delivering proficiencies in digital fabrication technologies. In addition to the core OBDF courses, electives have been selected for this Minor from programs throughout AUArts. These electives deepen student learning with respect to Object Design and Fabrication History, Theory and Context, Invention Literacy and Fabrication Methodologies.

The Minor in Design provides students with an opportunity to learn about perceptual, conceptual and technical skills needed in the field of graphic design. Students will learn about studio habits, image-making, visual research, typography and the history of modern design. Coursework spans across both screen and print technologies.

Learn how to to integrate systems engineering with advanced design thinking. Creative Systems Design deals with connecting design thinking/system, thinking/systemic design, and systems engineering. Creative Systems Design places creativity as an integral part of systems engineering. Creative Systems Design gives you a methodology for working more creatively with complex systems. This involves both individual and collaborative creativity. The methods are particularly well suited for building bridges between departments and silos.

Concept designers bring stories to life by designing everything an audience sees—from props and scenery to costumes and characters. Concept Design at CCS is an intimate, competitive program, with a curriculum developed by Entertainment Arts (EA) Chair and veteran concept designer Tim Flattery. Studies include conceptual skills, 2D and 3D execution, and designing hardware, architecture, characters, and environments.

The Fashion Design Programme provides participants with the techniques to design and create menswear or womenswear while responding to changing needs in the international fashion and luxury industries. Fashion designers are the inspiration for creative ideas and new trends, not only in clothing but also in fabric development. They create collections based on an informed analysis of materials and fabrics in connection with art, design, creativity, and fashion.

The CCS Transportation Design program has spent 60+ years becoming the best. This century’s wave of ingenuity, including autonomous vehicles and mobility-forward design, is powered by the designers that teach and learn here. Additionally, the global design chiefs Moray Callum of Ford Motor Company, Ralph Gilles of Chrysler and Mike Simcoe of General Motors — who all keep a close eye on the program’s quality — sit on the CCS Board of Trustees.

Introduction to Computer-Aided Design for Advanced Manufacturing provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles, techniques and tools used in computer-aided design (CAD) for advanced manufacturing applications. This program is designed for individuals who are new to CAD and seek to develop a strong foundation in this field within the context of advanced manufacturing.

The Advertising and Marketing Communications – Creative Design program at Loyalist College is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed for successful careers in the dynamic fields of advertising and marketing. The program emphasizes creative design, strategic communication, and media planning. Students learn to create compelling advertising campaigns, develop effective marketing strategies, and use various digital tools and platforms.
