25 Cultural Studies Course Programs

IEP offers an online eight-week Intensive English Program six times a year in exciting Los Angeles for ESL students with academic or professional goals, including passing the TOEFL for entrance into an American university. The 21-26 hours per week IEP offers a coordinated program of conversation, grammar, writing, reading/vocabulary, pronunciation and listening. Students from all over the world enroll in this multi-level program and can continue to improve their skills by advancing from session to session. Qualified students from outside the U.S. are eligible for a student visa. Individual courses may also be taken by part-time students.

The Cultural Studies Program brings together an interdisciplinary group of scholars with a commitment to fostering new ways of analyzing and participating in contemporary cultural dynamics in Turkey and around the world. The program covers a wide range of topics and theoretical approaches, with particular emphasis on: literary and cultural theory; gender and sexuality, transnational mobility and migration; ethnic identities and citizenship; politics of representation; memory studies and oral history.

The Ministry of Education offers the Regional Studies Programme (RSP) Scholarship to encourage academically able and linguistically talented students to pursue H2 History, covering South East Asia's developments under the Regional Studies Programme.

The undergraduate minor in Evolutionary Studies (EvoS) introduces students to evolutionary thinking across a wide range of academic disciplines and is explicitly meant to be interdisciplinary. Binghamton's Evolutionary Studies Program teaches evolution in an integrated fashion, beginning with core principles and extending from the biological sciences to all aspects of humanity.

The Minor in Cultural and Natural Resource Management introduces students to key environmental and cultural issues as well as state and federal programs and laws that regulate cultural and natural resource management. Students focus on Alaska-specific issues and regulations to enhance the relevance of the minor to cultural and natural resource management in the state. The course of study complements degrees in Anthropology, Biology, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, English, Geology, and History by teaching students how their future careers might intersect with environmental and other laws and by building skills that will improve their success in finding employment in environmental, natural, and cultural resource compliance.

Cultural anthropology explores the diversities and commonalities of cultures and societies in an increasingly interconnected world.

World Evangelism has been a foundational piece of Baptist history and Boston Baptist College since its inception. Students in the Cross-Cultural Ministries program are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to spread the Gospel's message across the world’s numerous cultures.

This Spanish culture course of 5 private lessons per week is designed for intermediate and advanced students to practice the Spanish language by discussing historical, social, and cultural topics.

Thai Language and Society focus on studying the Thai language and culture and understanding Thai history and society.

Here you will learn skills that can be applied to a career in curation, museums, collections, archives, and of course, field archaeology, all while doing detective work to solve the many unpredictable issues that arise when rehabilitating old collections.
