10 Course Programs in Costa Rica

This course is designed to provide general law enforcement professionals with no previous Spanish experience with the tools necessary for interacting with native Spanish speakers. During this 4-week course, students will work through simulated interactions with Spanish speaking patients to acquire the basic linguistic knowledge and skills that will allow them to comfortably tackle these interactions when they return home.

In this course, we will explore the diverse marine ecosystems of the Pacific side of Costa Rica through immersive field studies, we will focus on rocky reef ecology, mangrove ecosystems, intertidal zone ecology, plankton ecology, marine biodiversity, conservation practices, local fishing, and the role of genetics in marine conservation.

Learn how to integrate a mindset and practice of inclusion into your design process. Inclusive design is the process of designing for the diversity of people’s needs and experiences. It starts by understanding multiple dimensions of diversity—such as gender, ethnicity, physical ability, socio-economic background, and beyond—in order to consider different perspectives throughout the design process.

This intensive five-day workshop offers a deep-dive introduction to the concept and practice of design thinking for services, processes, and products. Understand why design thinking has become the go-to approach for innovation across industries, and learn how to apply it according to your own needs.

This workshop focuses on the value of prototyping fast and often, regardless of previous design experience, and introduces different prototype fidelities, tips and tricks, and processes for planning and measuring the success of a prototype. We will demonstrate how to prototype at different scales, from interfaces to products, to entire services.

Our Heredia city campus has recently become an official SIELE examination center where students can take their SIELE exam and take classes beforehand to prepare themselves accordingly. Our accredited Spanish courses are in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Our Spanish immersion program provides a complete Spanish immersion opportunity, Our program is based on four integrated components: daily classes, daily cultural activities, homestay families (optional but highly recommended), and our "Spanish-Only rule" on campus. This is to make sure that our students make the most out of their Spanish studies while being in our school facilities, by providing a 100% immersion environment and experience for all students. The 200-Hour Self-Awakening Yoga Teacher Training provides an in-depth exploration of the fundamentals of Hatha Yoga practices. Taught in a non-authoritarian environment, this training guides you step-by-step through the process of discovering your own unique expression and style of yoga, supporting you as you come to know the teacher already within you.
