Automotive Service Technicians possess a full range of knowledge and abilities required to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose problems and repair vehicle systems including engines, vehicle management, hybrids, steering, braking, tires, wheels, drivetrains, suspension, electrical, electronics, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), restraints, trim and accessories of automotive vehicle and light trucks with a gross vehicle weight less than 5,500 kg.

Class B Gasfitters are responsible for the design, installation, testing, adjustment, maintenance and repair of lines, appliances, equipment and accessories in various sectors. Fuels may include natural gas, manufactured gas, liquefied petroleum gas, digester gas, landfill gas, biogas or a mixture or dilution of any of these gases and hydrogen.

In this program Plumber Apprenticeship, student are trained to install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems such as water, hydronic, drainage, waste and vent (DWV), low pressure steam, chemical and irrigation. Plumbers also work with specialized systems such as medical gas, process piping, compressed air, water conditioners, fuel piping, sewage and water treatment, and storage and flow equipment.

Sheet Metal Workers lay out, fabricate, assemble, weld, install and service the following: ducting, spouting, fittings cabinets, gutters, copings, flashings, supporting devices, wall systems, building envelope, ornamental work and integral equipment associated with the blowpipe, air pollution, heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, roofing, restaurant, kitchen, marine installations and hospital equipment.

Transport Trailer Technicians maintain, rebuild, overhaul, recondition and troubleshoot diagnostic and repair of industrial and commercial trailers. Technicians are often referred to as Commercial Trailer Mechanics. Commonly known as Commercial Trailer Mechanic Apprenticeship.

Welders are trained and capable of welding ferrous and non-ferrous metals in all positions, on both plate and/or pipe, using various welding processes. Note: this program is for welders who are sponsored by their employer and are registered with SkilledTradesBC. Welders who are not "active" registered with SkilledTradesBC and track their hours in a Welder Logbook should review the modular option for apprenticeship training.

Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprentices learn how to maintain, manufacture, overhaul, recondition and repair equipment powered by internal combustion engines or electricity. Some equipment technicians work on include graders, loaders, shovels, off-highway tractors, off-highway trucks, forklifts, wheeled and tracked vehicles.

Does “taking notes” in class mean constantly doodling and day-dreaming about far-away fantasy worlds and colourful characters? If so, 2D Animation & Digital Art is the program for you!

Automotive Glass Technicians remove, install, repair and generally service all types of stationary and movable glass in motor vehicles and associated equipment. The Automotive Glass Technician Apprenticeship program provides comprehensive training for individuals interested in pursuing a career in automotive glass repair and replacement.

Automotive Refinishing Technicians work on the surfaces of motor vehicles, primarily restoring vehicle finishes once body work has been completed. As of April 1, 2021, apprentices who complete Automotive Collision and Refinishing common core Level 1 can enter Level 2 of the Automotive Refinishing Technician Apprenticeship.

In the program Baker Apprenticeship, Bakers prepare doughs, batters and other ingredients and then produce items such as bread, buns, cakes, pies, cookies and other baked goods. The Baking and Pastry Arts Program equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the baking industry. Participants learn to prepare doughs, batters, and other ingredients, and to produce a wide variety of baked goods, including bread, buns, cakes, pies, cookies, and more.

RV Service Technicians work on systems and components of recreation vehicles, including electrical components, plumbing, propane gas components, appliances, exterior and interior components, structural frames and towing systems. RV Service Technicians work on motorized vehicles like motorhomes and towable vehicles, such as travel trailers, folding camping trailers, truck campers and park models.
