The Basic Construction Skills qualification is designed to offer an introduction to the construction industry and will prepare learners to progress to higher level related qualifications in the construction sector.

This course was designed for maintenance and reliability professionals at all levels. Known Best Practices will be explained, demonstrated, and attendees will work in groups on real-world issues in each functional area in maintenance and reliability allowing learning from the instructor and fellow attendees.

This Level 1 course offers an opportunity to try your hand at home improvements such as joinery, plumbing and building maintenance. You will gain essential DIY skills and a qualification. It sounds like the Level 1 course in home improvements offers participants the opportunity to learn and practice basic skills in areas such as joinery, plumbing, and building maintenance. Here's what participants might expect from the course: Hands-on Experience: Participants will have the chance to gain practical experience in various home improvement tasks, including basic joinery (e.g., woodworking), plumbing (e.g., fixing leaks, installing fixtures), and building maintenance (e.g., repairing walls, painting). Essential DIY Skills: The course aims to equip participants with essential do-it-yourself (DIY) skills that they can apply to projects in their own homes or potentially in a professional setting

This course has been developed to adopt new requirements within the Onsite Wastewater Code being introduced to South Australia, supporting Local Councils, SA Health, the wastewater industry and homeowners improve the standard of servicing and maintenance of aerobic wastewater treatment systems.
