The 15-week program “Tropical Architecture, Interior & Green Design” at the Institut Desain & Bisnis Bali (IDB Bali), formerly known as Sekolah Tinggi Desain & Bisnis Bali (STDBali), is designed exclusively as a semester abroad for international students and graduates.

The Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree is a pre-professional major providing students with substantial grounding in the discipline. The undergraduate minor in Architectural Studies offers students the possibility to gain insight into the discipline of Architecture, broadening students' global backgrounds on the relationship between the built environments and cultural meaning. The minor is available to all full-time, degree-seeking FAU students, except those enrolled in the Pre-Architecture or Bachelor of Architecture programs. However, students transferring out of the Pre-Architecture or Bachelor of Architecture programs may opt to receive recognition for their efforts spent in the major by completing the requirements for the minor.

The architect and urban planner can work in different scales, from urban and regional planning (master planning, land division, etc.), to the design and construction of city areas, buildings and open spaces (urban, landscape and architectural), as well as with the design of objects.
