The Black Studies minor offers an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the society, culture, and history of Africans and people of African descent. You’ll draw on the expertise of scholars in the fields of sociology, literature, the visual and performing arts, history, political science, education, economics and anthropology to learn about the African and African-American experience.
