The Hardin-Simmons Department of Mathematics offers programs of study leading to the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Behavioral Science, and Bachelor of Science degrees. Our students are encouraged to learn by doing mathematics.

Consistent with the liberal arts tradition, the HSU psychology program encourages students to think deeply as they explore and critically evaluate interesting phenomena in human behavior and experience.

The field of criminal justice is dynamic and demanding, with an ever-increasing need for advances in the following areas: forensic science, the interconnection between the law and science; behavioral analysis; administration of rapidly changing criminal justice systems and agencies, etc. A Criminal Justice degree from Hardin Simmons University offers students a multidisciplinary, practical, research-based learning opportunity designed to address these critical needs.

The mission of Hardin-Simmons University Theatre is to provide a broad-based education in the core areas of theatre: Directing, Performing, Design and Technical Theatre, Theatre History, and Theatre Education while supporting and incorporating the Christian faith.

Our goal is for students to flourish within a Christian environment, participate in a visual arts curriculum that examines historical context, contemporary issues, and multimedia technologies while balancing both theory and practice.

Fitness, Recreation & Sports Management is the most flexible degree in the School of Kinesiology, Health & Recreation. It allows for 22 credit hours of electives and is the only degree in the School that requires a minor.

Campbellsville University's online, CAEP-accredited B.S. in Elementary Education provides licensure to teach elementary school in Kentucky. The program combines coursework with in-person student teaching to deliver theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Graduates are prepared for Praxis® exams and have initial licensure required to teach all subjects at the primary through 5th grade (P–5) level. A dual certification option is also available for special education.
