The goal of this program is to extend the knowledge of BSc level students, and to learn about different meteorological phenomena, their driving forces, and to gain knowledge on the state-of-the-art methodology that is used in the practice and also about climate change and its environmental consequences. Students have to learn about the multidisciplinary nature of meteorology and the possible connections with different other scientific fields and sectors.

This high-standard, full-time program provides students with a solid theoretical foundation and focuses on enhancing their engineering skills, offering in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in a chosen specialization: polymer engineering or chemical technology engineering.

Not only do we provide our students with thorough theoretical foundations, but also emphasize improving their business skills through our active and extensive relations with industry leaders and top companies. Our widely recognized full-time MBA program is a unique training with a wide range of specialization courses in Finance, Marketing, HR, and others.

The Commerce and Marketing BSc has a long-standing tradition of providing market-leading expertise in the fields of marketing, commerce, and logistics education, introducing students to market and consumer behavior, sales organization, and the world of branding and advertising. With up-to-date business knowledge, professional expertise, and practical skills, our BSc will prepare you to engage in demand-driven procurement and sales of various products and services, as well as manage the commercial, marketing, and logistics operations of small- and medium-sized enterprises and large corporations.

The International Business Economics BSc prepares students to understand global business processes and the operations of multinational companies. If you are aspiring to an international business career, interested in corporate solutions to global economic challenges, open to inter-cultural collaboration, or looking to start your own successful business, then look no further.

On the Finance and Accounting BSc, you will acquire knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, investments, and business decision support methods, gaining insight into the financial processes of the economy and businesses, their accounting treatment, as well as business analysis and data visualization methods.

The International Economy and Business MSc provides you with comprehensive knowledge of global economic processes and the latest market trends, exploring the business and financial management of international manufacturing and service investments, as well as the international financial environment, financing mechanisms, and trade strategies.

Our mission is to provide support to our students in their research field assisting them with their scientific work, publishing novel results, international dissemination, and getting acquainted with the most recent protocols and methods. The school motivates PhD in Health Sciences to take part in national and international project applications. Through our international contacts we give our Ph.D. students the opportunity for mobility and to gain experience abroad and to expand their scientific contacts. The Ph.D. students are involved in the scientific research of the supervisors and scientific members of the Doctoral School. The research topics are continuously being expanded due to the new results achieved by the Ph.D. students. These novel results will be integrated into the research topics.

The Doctoral School of Biology and Spotbiology provides PhD in Biology and Sport Biology in a wide range of fields of biology and sports biology including genetics, microbiology, plant biology, ecology, regulatory biology, fitness, stress, sport, and immune system. Excellently equipped laboratories are available in the biology departments and at the Szentágothai Research Center of UP, as well as at the Balaton Limnological Institute. Through international contacts, we give the opportunity to our Ph.D. students mobility.

The Doctoral School of PhD in Chemistry offers a four-year training and research program in a wide range of fields in chemical sciences, Analytical Chemistry, Bioorganic Chemistry, Homogeneous Catalysis, Chemistry of Coordination Compounds, Electrochemistry, Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Theoretical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Separation Science. The chemistry program began in 1993 and since then the students have had access to all modern techniques and could take part in international scientific research programs, which leads the outstanding students to obtain a Ph.D. degree upon complying with the requirements of their studies.

The Doctoral School of PhD in Physics covers the fields that are the subjects of research in the Institute of Physics; namely, laser physics, including THz and X-ray laser research, nonlinear optics, generation of ultrashort laser pulses, laser-based acceleration of particles, quantum informatics, theoretical atomic and molecular physics. World-leading research on high-energy THz pulses and their applications has a strong tradition at the Institute. There is a close collaboration between the doctoral school and three institutes of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences: both the Institute for Solid State Physics and the Institute for Particle and Nuclear Physics of the Wigner Research Center, and the Institute for Technical Physics and Material Science, further the Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI-ALPS) institute in Szeged, as well as several international scientific collaborators and local industrial partners. Students will be able to synthesize theoretical and empirical studies, conduct their own research, and present them both orally and in written form.

The doctoral program in PhD in Law enables outstanding scholars to conduct original research with a major impact on academia and legal practice. The remarkable connections between the Faculty and the multidisciplinary research method create a unique opportunity to undertake research in any field of law and the related disciplines. The Faculty of Law encourages multidisciplinary studies, collaboration, and approach.

The program in PhD in Psychology offers graduates in psychology, biology, medicine, and other social sciences the opportunity to broaden their theoretical and practical knowledge to achieve new scientific results. Courses will cover but will be not limited to, topics such as social cognition and social representation, psychophysiological measurements, and qualitative and quantitative research methods.

The aim of the doctoral program in PhD in International Politics is to offer a wide variety of topics for the study of the actors, processes, intersections, and complexities of International Politics to those committed minds and talents who wish to foster research in any of the major relevant sub-fields in an interdisciplinary manner. The instructors and thesis supervisors of the program represent an extensive pool of expertise embracing Political Science, International Relations, International Law, and Regional/Area Studies, therefore, providing substantial support to students both from methodological and theoretical perspectives. The interdisciplinary character of the program is strongly reinforced by the natural cooperation with other programs of the Doctoral School, including History, Ethnography, and Cultural Anthropology. The program has been dynamically developing its circle of partnerships and collaborations both nationally and internationally. Doctoral students have the opportunity to join projects, take part in fieldwork, and participate in many exchange programs in different corners of the Globe. The host department also offers a wide range of scientific and intercultural events.

The main goal of our PhD in Educational Sciences is to provide knowledge on research in the educational sciences field, prepare students for this activity, and develop the skills needed to carry out research in this area. The main fields of the research activities of our doctoral school are the historical and theoretical perspectives of education, examination of teaching and learning processes, neuropedagogy, reading literacy, educational sociology, romology, and education of minorities. We expect students who are motivated to research these fields and intend to work in this research community.
