MSc in Software Engineering imparts general software engineering skills and specialized skills in enterprise systems and embedded real-time systems. The international master’s programme in Software Engineering offers general software engineering and management skills and specialised skills in two major software application domains: enterprise systems and embedded real-time systems. The programme is delivered jointly by Estonia’s two largest universities: the University of Tartu and TalTech. Students graduating from this programme obtain degrees from both universities. The programme prepares students for high-end technical or managerial roles at the most respected technology companies. Study at the Department of Semiotics at the University of Tartu, one of the most important centers of semiotics in the world. Semiotics is a 2-year Master’s program that provides interdisciplinary background and gives a theoretical base for application of semiotic ideas to a wide variety of disciplines and scientific study. Semiotics is the general study of sign processes or semiosis. The program binds together the theory of semiotics and three core modules – cultural semiotics, biosemiotics, and socio-semiotics.

Contemporary Art MA is a two-year international program for emerging contemporary artists of different backgrounds intended to guide them during the development of their artistic position. The main focus is on the individual artistic practice, supported by collaborative moments in the curriculum as well as masterclasses and courses introducing a range of artistic methods and platforms for research and critical reflection.
