The Advanced Master's in Cosmetic Formulation and Industrialization, accredited by the CGE, is a specialized program by ITECH Lyon and IMT Group, focusing on cosmetics production expertise.

The general Cosmetology program consists of a minimum of 1000 hours of training to provide entry-level skills to students who desire a career in the cosmetology profession. Students will develop expertise in the science and techniques of hair, skin, makeup, and lab experience in cosmetology. Upon completion, the student is eligible to take the California State Board examination to become a Licensed Cosmetologist.

Aesthetic cosmetology – is a possibility to work in a growing and constantly renewing industry of beauty services. The studies will grant a set of practical skills and it will help to cherish aesthetics and beauty and spread it to others.

The CSM Cosmetology program embraces a student-centered approach to collaborative team teaching and delivers current and comprehensive curricula via modern technologies, individual training, group projects, and supervised practice on the public, linking theoretical knowledge to hands-on (practical) experiences. Instruction on hair styling and cutting, chemical applications (hair color, curling, and straightening), nail, facial, and makeup services, cosmetology specialty classes, and portfolio preparation to include resume preparation and job placement support.

Courses in applicable professional labor laws and regulations in the cosmetology industry, physiology, anatomy, electricity, and ergonomics are also covered. Emphasis is placed on passing the state licensing exam and industry entry skills.

The hands-on Cosmetology Instructor Certificate Program trains students to guide and inspire a new generation of cosmetologists. The degree builds on the Cosmetology Certificate Program. In one year, students with a cosmetology operator or esthetician license will discover how to teach effectively, plan lessons, assess learning, and prepare others for state testing and licensing. In addition to cosmetology instructor courses, the students will take freshman and sophomore-level general studies courses. Those who complete the A.A.S. degree and become a licensed cosmetology instructor will have more opportunities for employment and are qualified to teach at a high school or community college.
