This degree programme concentrates on action and strategies which can be implemented to improve existing infrastructures with regard to their use of resources and equip them with digital technology to create more user friendliness for all involved, whether that be owners, administrators or users.

Environment Social and Governance criteria (ESG) and Impact Investing have gained a lot of traction in recent years and will continue to do so in the (post-) Corona world. Bachelor International Civil Engineering Mainz-Illinois Double Degree Program A Double Degree with Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville is an option offered to students enrolled in international Civil Engineering at Hochschule Mainz. Participation in the Double Degree program implies attending courses at the Hochschule Mainz for five semesters and at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville for three semesters. Therefore, within eight semesters, students will acquire bachelor's degrees from both universities attended.
