Civil Engineering is the study, application, and practice of using science and engineering technologies to deal with the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of sustainable infrastructures. The Civil engineering field started its work in 2017 as one of the primary fields in the Faculty of Engineering at Final International University. With up to date facilities and laboratories this faculty will equip the students with practical knowledge of civil engineering.

The construction of high-quality earthquake-proof buildings, bridges, dams, ports and modern road networks and ensuring the supply of drinking water are some of these achievements. In the rapidly changing conditions of the natural and structured environment, the role of the Civil Engineer in society is constantly being upgraded, as the challenges become more and more complex. The depletion of natural resources, climate change, pollution and the effects on structures due to their aging, are challenges that must be addressed through a sustainability framework that will propose solutions. These solutions should not only br techno-economically optimal, but also environmentally friendly. The Master in Civil Engineering and Sustainable Planning aims at the high level of training of students in the fields of Civil Engineering with emphasis on sustainable planning and management of the natural and structured environment.

The aim of this faculty is to train architects and engineers who are able to meet the requirements of the era, who take into account human, nature and structured environmental balances, who produce creative and scientific solutions to the problems of the world we live in taking into account universal values, and who have leadership skills, self-confidence, and entrepreneurial professional responsibilities and who are innovative.
