11 Computer Science and IT Management Degree Programs in Vietnam

The program is developed in collaboration with Pearson UK, Deakin University (Australia), and Vietnam's top technology companies. Students are equipped with cutting-edge technologies, including Big Data, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and more.

This program offers a Bachelor of Science with basic and advanced knowledge of Computer Science and the ability to research and develop IT applications.

The goal of our undergraduate program is to educate our students in the theory and application of computer technology. Above all, our students must possess the intellectual tools that will enable them to keep pace with the ever-changing world of Computer Science.

The Bachelor in Informatics and Computer Engineering is an English – taught course (except for 4 Vietnamese compulsory subjects in which international students will be provided with excellent support to meet subject requirements). It's a globally recognized bachelor's degree awarded by Vietnam National University Hanoi, with access to advanced teaching methods including problems solving cases, which encourages independent thinking and teamwork in the decision-making process of students.

With the current development, IT (Information Technology) plays an extremely important role. It is present in almost every field, each with its own unique position. In particular, it is necessary to mention the role of information technology in economics, medicine, education, security and life. This development has led to an increase in the demand for security of computer systems, online transactions, information management, etc., therefore, leading to an increase in the demand for human resources in the cyber security industry.

The aim of the master in ICT is equipping students with the most up-to-date, high-level background knowledge and information technology skills so that they can easily adapt to a professional working environment if they study higher education abroad; or take up management positions, or founded their own IT startups. Students are enrolled both at the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (Vietnam France University) and at a French partner university. A six (6) months internship in France will be offered to students in the second year (Master 2). Graduated students will be awarded a double degree from a French university and from the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi.

The Bachelor in Management Information System is an English - taught course (except for 4 Vietnamese compulsory subjects in which international students will be provided with great support to meet subject requirements). A globally recognized bachelor degree awarded by Vietnam National University Hanoi with the opportunity to receive a second bachelor’s degree majoring in Business Law, English language, Japanese or Korean Language by VNU or its member college.

The program goal is to train Information Technology (IT) engineers with basic scientific knowledge, fundamental and specialized IT knowledge, ability to analyze, evaluate and select appropriate solutions to build and manage IT systems, ethics and appropriate professional attitudes, communication skills, and teamwork, and life-long learning capability to meet the development needs of society.
