B.Sc. Civil Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology deals with the planning, design, and construction of buildings, bridges, tunnels, airports, railways, highways, and environmental systems.

A four-semester program and preparation of the final M.Sc. thesis under the guidance of the Faculty supervisor allows students to acquire comprehensive knowledge and qualifications in the area of civil engineering.

The Faculty of Civil Engineering is one of the largest faculties of Cracow University of Technology and is also among the most prominent Polish faculties educating prospective civil engineers. Complementary knowledge on modern world and history, e.g.: History of Architecture or Art, History of Civil Engineering, Current Developments in Civil Engineering and Built Environment, Sustainable Design and Environmental Engineering, Ethics and Social Aspects of Economic Activity, Polish Language and Culture.

The students gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills connected with structure design, construction materials, and technologies as well as static and dynamic analysis of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, metal, wooden, ground, and complex constructions. They learn how to use advanced computational models and modern IT solutions in civil engineering. In addition to participating in lectures, presentations, labs, seminars, and projects the students may also take part in the student scientific groups and international exchanges.

The graduate will be fully prepared to manage all types of building structures, cooperate in designing public utility, industrial and communal structures, organize the production of building elements, and supervise construction activities. The graduate is qualified to take up a post in construction companies, construction supervision firms, and local and state administration institutions involved in architecture and construction issues.

Graduating from the CUT (studies in English) will provide an opportunity for the building license application after certain legal requirements are fulfilled. After a two-year practical training period, the graduates will also have a chance to apply for the European Union engineer degree, which is honored in all European Union countries.

Construction is a field of study that allows you to gain specialist knowledge about building materials and products as well as technologies for the implementation of buildings and structures. Training on a practical profile requires learning and creative work in the field of design, construction and renovation of building facilities and engineering structures.
