The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering offers a Masters in Engineering (MEng) course-based degree program that is structured to advance knowledge of practical interest in specialized fields and to provide students with the skills necessary to address key technological challenges. This degree program is well-suited for working professionals and those seeking careers in the industrial sector. Our MEng program provides opportunities to gain industry-related experience through co-op placements and industry-sponsored projects. MEng is a one-year program. Students are required to complete 10 courses OR 8 courses and a project.

In this two-year diploma program, you will learn the fundamentals to prepare for a career as a civil engineering technician. At the completion of your first year, you will have the option to transfer to the Civil Engineering Technology program (requires a grade of C or better in Strength of Materials).
