121 Public Health Certificate Programs

The goal of the Pre-Health Professions Certificate Program (PHPCP) is to guide participants through the entire preparation and application process so that they will be competitive applicants to graduate health profession schools. The program is intended for students who have already earned a B.A./B.S. degree and wish to apply to allopathic medicine, osteopathic medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy, physician assistant, veterinary or optometry schools.

The programme is designed for those interested in acquiring technical expertise in demography, and understanding the interlinkages between population studies and health including fertility, sexual behaviour, ageing, health inequalities and life expectancy.

At Holy Cross, you can pursue your passion in any of the liberal arts while successfully preparing for a career in medicine, dentistry and other health fields.

The Addictions and Mental Health program is a full-time one-year graduate certificate program delivered Online or Distance Learning. We also offer part-time Online or Distance Learning delivery. Learners acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities required by front-line workers and supervisors in order to deliver responsive and effective addictions and mental health services while promoting empowerment, self-determination, and optimum quality of life to individuals with addictions and mental health issues.
