5 Occupational Therapy Certificate Programs

The Occupational Therapy Assistant Program's mission at the Community College of Rhode Island is to prepare students for successful completion of the NBCOT certification examination, obtain state licensure, and gain employment as Occupational Therapist Assistants in various health care settings, working with diverse patient populations.

The Tufts Department of Occupational Therapy Advanced Professional Certificate in School-based Practice is a no-residency, online certificate designed for working school professionals.

The certificate in allied health starts students on the road to a variety of careers in the health industries. It is a good starting point for students who wish to complete one year of course work and then transfer to a program such as dental hygiene, radiation therapy, occupational therapy, or mortuary science.

The Rehabilitation Assistant program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide safe and competent rehabilitative care to clients and their families. Rehabilitation assistants perform their duties under the supervision of a speech language pathologist, occupational therapist and/or physical therapist.
