Candidates are required to hold a Bachelor of Theology (BTheol) degree in the major subject of the proposed Program with satisfactory grades.

The Postgraduate Certificate in Pharmacy (PGCertPharm) can be taken as either a non-endorsed or endorsed program. The endorsed options are Medicines Management or Social Pharmacy. The endorsed certificate serves as an introduction to advanced level papers. The non-endorsed certificate is an introduction to research by way of a small research experience in the pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacy, social pharmacy or biopharmaceutics.

The Postgraduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Medicine (PGCertMSM) is specifically aimed at medical practitioners in general primary care, and trainees in associated specialist disciplines. It comprises a selection of five papers from ten papers offered, and can be completed on a part-time basis. The papers include both distance- and Internet-based theoretical teaching, and a practical 'hands-on', on-campus component.

The Postgraduate Certificate in Health Sciences (PGCertHealSc) is designed to enable health professionals to specialise in specific areas of practice at a postgraduate level, studying on a part-time basis. In general, this qualification is intended for health professionals who have completed three years of tertiary study and already have experience in the field.

The Postgraduate Certificate in Occupational Medicine (PGCertOccMed) is a one-year, part-time, distance-taught program that provides core competencies for medical practitioners who provide occupational health services at a non-specialist level. It is particularly suitable for General Practitioners, Family Doctors, Internal Medicine Specialists, Neurologists etc. who consult on health and wellbeing and the workplace.

The New Zealand Certificates in English comprise of eight English language programmes from foundation through to advanced level. These programmes give you the language skills and knowledge useful for living and working in New Zealand. The Foundation Level 1 programme enables learners to communicate with support in very basic, familiar and everyday situations. This programme is available full time and consists of 18 weeks (6 months) of intensive learning. It is also available part-time over 36 weeks (12 months).
