The Heavy Equipment Operator classes are small which lends itself to a cohesive work climate simulating real-life job sites. Industry-standard COVID safety procedures are implemented and enforced, this prepares students to know what to expect when they enter the industry.

If you’re interested in studying agriculture, but you only want to commit to a year, then our General Agriculture Certificate program, offered through a brand new partnership with Lakeland College is for you! Our certificate program offers a specific concentration on crop production. The courses offered will allow you to master fundamental skills that are essential for modern agricultural operations, including computer training, keeping accurate business records, and using up-to-date and innovative technology. Skills specific to crop production will involve you in practical field skills used to identify plants and weeds and assess a variety of pest problems. Upon completion of your certificate program, you will also be given the option to transfer into year two of Lakeland’s Crop Technology Diploma program, offered on its Vermilion campus. The diploma program will allow you to gain knowledge and skills through agronomy, production, precision farming, and financial management classes while being immersed in a hands-on experience through industry practicum or Lakeland’s student-managed farm. The Addictions and Mental Health program is a full-time one-year graduate certificate program delivered Online or Distance Learning. We also offer part-time Online or Distance Learning delivery. Learners acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities required by front-line workers and supervisors in order to deliver responsive and effective addictions and mental health services while promoting empowerment, self-determination, and optimum quality of life to individuals with addictions and mental health issues.

The Addictions and Mental Health program is a part-time graduate certificate program delivered Online or Distance Learning; students have up to five years to complete the program. Learners acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities required by front-line workers and supervisors in order to deliver responsive and effective addiction and mental health services while promoting empowerment, self-determination, and optimum quality of life to individuals with addictions and mental health issues.
