The American Sign Language and Deaf Studies Certificate of Completion Program are designed for individuals who currently have a college degree (Associate degree or higher) and are interested in the fields of Deaf Studies, linguistics, communications, psychology, social work, rehabilitation, education of the Deaf and other related areas.

The Chinese Studies program offers up to five years of Mandarin Chinese language courses in addition to courses that explore Chinese literature, cinema, and culture through a range of disciplines.

Canadian Studies Kings minor program in Canadian Studies provides students with a well rounded selection of courses pertaining to Canadian society, culture, politics, history and economics. The minor introduces students to the deeper undercurrents and driving forces behind our current life in Canada such as federalism, colonialism and the countrys incredibly diverse landscape.

This curriculum prepares individuals to communicate in American Sign Language (ASL), primarily with persons who are deaf or hard of hearing. Students also study the U.S. Deaf community from a cultural perspective.

The Middlebury Institute Language Program Administration (LPA) certificate and specialization prepare students for administrative roles in language programs or schools. The program focuses on skills specific to administration within a language program context and covers directing language programs, training teachers and aides, evaluating program effectiveness, budgeting, and marketing.

The Basic Oceti Sakowin Language Certificate provides students a language certificate that marks their achievements in acquiring Oceti Sakowin language at the basic level, of which Dakota, Nakota, and Lakota are types of dialects. The certificate includes elementary and intermediate language study, with a focus on developing all modes of language production: speaking, listening, writing, and reading in an everyday context.
