The Industrial Maintenance Technology Program prepares students to install and maintain the electromechanical, mechanical pneumatic, and hydraulic systems used in manufacturing and building facilities. The student acquires knowledge of electrical power and motors, control systems, pumps, compressors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and power transfer devices. Students can expect to find employment as installers, technicians, and service representatives in manufacturing, sales, and customer service.

This course prepares you for work with the elderly or people with disabilities in the community or residential setting. The five-month course delivered over 3 days (4 days if you choose the dual stream) is designed in consultation with industry. It includes theory and hands-on learning with organised work placement (see below) .

An operator in the industry is an individual who operates the mechanical device used in a particular process. Their responsibility is to monitor, troubleshoot, adjust, and make slight repairs to the process's equipment. Operators in Southwest Wyoming are used in soda ash, fertilizer, electrical power plants, and gas plants.
