Two Certificates in French Language Proficiency (CFLP) are offered through the Faculty of Arts with the department of Francophone Studies and Languages at Brandon University. These certificates provide students with the necessary practical and theoretical language skills to become efficient speakers and writers of French in their personal or professional lives. The CFLP I is intended for those students who have limited or no previous knowledge of French, while the CFLP II pathway is intended for students who have acquired high school French. All courses taken in the certificate program are regular credit courses and may be used later for credit toward a B.A. or B.Sc.

The JSC is designed to meet the needs of persons who are interested in or currently working within the justice system. The program consists of 30 credit hours of university study. Manitoba Agriculture requires at least one individual per landscape or golf course company to be certified in IPM. A current Pesticide Landscape/Golf Applicator license is also mandatory. IPM online exams are now available for certification. Integrated Pest Management (IPM) provides green space managers with the knowledge to achieve an acceptable level of pest control in a cost-effective and aseptically pleasing way while minimizing the use of pesticides. Members of the landscape and golf course industries in Manitoba initiated the IPM certification program, which is meant to formally recognize industry qualifications and promote ongoing IPM education. The program was jointly developed by the Manitoba Golf Superintendents Association (MGSA), Landscape Manitoba, Assiniboine Community College, and Manitoba Agriculture and Manitoba Conservation & Water Stewardship. Manitoba Agriculture requires at least one individual per landscape or golf course company to be certified in IPM. A current Pesticide Applicator licence is also recommended.

The Manure Management Planner (MMP) course provides agrologists with the knowledge they need to prepare plans to apply manure as a fertilizer in an environmentally stable manner. In Manitoba, the application of livestock manure to land must be as a fertilizer for crop production. Many livestock operations must submit an annual Manure Management Plan (MMP) to Manitoba Conservation and Climate. Livestock producers can prepare a Manure Management Plan themselves or with the assistance of a qualified Manure Management Planner. Manure Management Planners that prepare plans required by the government of Manitoba must have successfully completed the Manure Management Planner Course and be members in good standing of the Agrologists Manitoba (Manitoba Institute of Agrologists (MIA)) or Certified Crop Advisors. Assiniboine offers an approved training course for Manure Management Planners that was developed in partnership with the Province of Manitoba and the Agrologists Manitoba. It consists of a home study manual, an online seminar, a manure management planning assignment, and a 100 question, closed-book, multiple-choice exam completed online.
