This program teaches traditional Indigenous art forms as well as introductory-level theory and skills in various other fine arts and craft media. The Arts, Literature, and Communication (ALC) program at Marianopolis is a two-year, pre-university program that allows you to express yourself while gaining all the skills and prerequisites you need to follow a university program in the arts and other non-science areas.

If you want to explore different fields of study, prefer to follow a shorter program, or earn university credits outside a traditional degree, the Certificate in Arts and Science gives you that flexibility. The certificate may also be of interest to those who already have an undergraduate degree, but are looking to refresh their knowledge or learn new skills.

The Recording Arts program is designed for those who want to advance their skills in recording music, sampling sounds and mixing audio. At the completion of this program, you will be able to create, record and edit sound in analog and digital form. You will be equipped with a skill set that will enable you to enter a broad range of sound recording work with a focus on new recording techniques.

This program is fully customizable to meet the unique needs and talents of our students. The General Arts & Science - College Exploration program offers the extreme in personal flexibility and academic programming. Comprising a total of 11 courses, but only two required courses and one general education elective, students can literally design their own college certificate to explore career, education, and training opportunities.

The Certificate in Cultural and Artistic Practices for Environmental and Social Justice (CAP) prepares students to collaborate with communities to make art of all forms, to express diverse identities, and to explore and take action on social and environmental issues.
