Major or minor in Theatre at Converse and our liberal arts curriculum will introduce you to all facets surrounding theatre productions. From directing to acting, to costume and stage design, our theatre majors are introduced to all aspects of theatre productions.

If you’ve dreamed of a career in live event production, Full Sail’s Show Production bachelor’s program will arm you with practical skills to take any performance to the next level. From live sound and lighting to corporate presentations, you’ll build foundations in a wide array of audio and visual applications, and enter the industry with a deep understanding of what moves an audience.

Theatre majors at MTSU take center stage with hands-on production responsibilities in the theatre's main season. Students enter a comprehensive program that includes all areas of performance and design/technology, theatre in education, and dance. Theory and instruction are infused with a carefully crafted progression of hands-on experience and training. The 1,000-seat Tucker Theatre underwent extensive renovation in 2010, and the Anderson Studio Theatre provides space for student-produced performances. Students use state-of-the-art lighting, costuming, and scenery equipment both in and out of the classroom.

The Musical Theatre major at Converse offers you immersive training in acting, dance, and voice. Whether you dream of acting, creating, directing, or stage management, the dynamic curriculum of Converse’s Musical Theatre degree will prepare you for a career in musical theatre or build the foundation for pursuing an advanced degree.
