The goal of the Exercise Physiology Degree Program at West Liberty University is to reflect those of the American Society of Exercise Physiologists (ASEP) as well as the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), while providing students with a solid foundation in factual and conceptual mastery of human movement study.

The Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science equips students with the advanced knowledge and skills required to improve the quality of life of others. Students receive quality training in the prevention and treatment of chronic health conditions such as diabetes, obesity, pulmonary rehabilitation, and more. The program provides students with a foundation in basic clinical laboratory and health fitness techniques that have the potential to advance career opportunities in exercise science fields.

The Bachelor of Science in Psychology program is designed to equip graduates for continuing studies in various fields, and as practitioners and researchers dedicated to seeking, articulating, and disseminating biblical truth. The Psychology program has adopted the 5 major learning objectives recommended by the American Psychological Association. The 6th objective supports the mission of Arizona Christian University to train students with a biblical worldview. This is the only program within the Behavioral and Social Sciences department that requires a separate application.
