The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders offers a four-year undergraduate program of study in the field of Speech Pathology and Audiology. Impairments of communication – speech, language, and hearing disorders – are among the most prevalent of human disabilities.

The program will prepare students for graduate studies in speech-language pathology and audiology. There is a nationwide shortage of speech-language pathologists and audiologists so they are in strong demand for jobs. The undergraduate major can be pursued as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.).

The Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) major at Thiel College serves the higher education needs of pre-professionals as they advance their careers and reach their personal enrichment goals.
