The department offers a comprehensive undergraduate program designed to combine a thorough understanding of the discipline of international relations, with an increasing emphasis on specialized and in-depth knowledge demanded by developments in the field. Aiming to provide an overall understanding for the study of international relations as an inter-disciplinary subject, the program includes core courses in International Relations Theory, International Law, International Political Economy, International Organization, Foreign Policy Analysis and regional studies.

The major in Political Science and International Relations introduces students to the complex and fascinating world of politics and provides them with essential tools for understanding and analyzing it.

The objectives of the department are to supply an overall and comprehensive outlook on political and administrative issues, develop a critical perspective on the state, law, political parties, local governments, bureaucracy, ideology, ethics, justice and the issues of gender, and provide the necessary research skills for analysing policymaking processes and initiating administrative reforms.
