The Distance BSc in Psychology reflects the priorities of the NUP’s mission and is designed to provide a course of studies that meets local and national needs, promotes links with local communities, and embraces modern pedagogy and learning technologies. The Distance Bachelor of Science (BSc) program in Psychology focuses on the study of the physiological and divergent patterns of human behavior.

The discipline of psychology is dedicated to increasing the scientific understanding of behavior and mental processes at the intrapersonal, interpersonal, and group levels, and to the application of that understanding to enhance the functioning of individuals, groups, and society. In line with this mission, the Undergraduate Program in Psychology has a threefold mission: to advance and transmit knowledge related to the nature of psychological processes and functioning, to provide a strong foundation in the basic knowledge and skills necessary for research in psychology, and to sensitize students to the applications of psychology in the wider community. This mission embodies the main elements of AUB Mediterraneo's​ mission which are to foster freedom of thought, respect for diversity, critical thinking, personal integrity, and civic engagement.

The BSc (Hons) Psychology course offers theoretical knowledge and practical application of psychology to real-world problems. Students will learn about the mind and behaviour, enabling them to understand the way people act, react and interact. They will consider the roles of the brain and the nervous system upon behaviour, perception, mood, and memory.

As a Psychology student at EUC you gain an understanding of why people behave in a certain way or how to overcome negative patterns of behavior that could prevent them from reaching their full potential. Grounded in practice and theory, the program focuses on understanding how people think, develop, and interact. Students learn how the brain works, how it changes with age, and how humans perceive and interpret behavior.
