In this Geography degree, you’ll explore the links between people, place and environment. You’ll engage with some of the most complex and challenging issues facing contemporary society including: climate change, environmental hazards, migration, urbanisation, social and economic inequalities, disaster risk reduction, coastal and river management, conservation politics, race and gender in society, and environmental justice.

The Bachelor of Science is a three-year programme comprising twenty-four courses; of which eight courses are at 100-level, eight courses at 200-level, and eight courses at 300-level. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) deal with the acquisition, management, analysis, and visualization of geographic information, called spatial data. They apply concepts drawn from the interdisciplinary field of Geographic Information Science (GIScience), which spans across the disciplines of surveying, geography, ecology, geology, archaeology, public health, social sciences, into the arts and beyond.
