The Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Retail and E-Business Entrepreneurship is 120 semester hours in duration. The program is made up of three components. The first consists of 36 semester credit hours of general education. All courses are required.

Digital information, including “big data”, creates new ways for companies to develop their activities and strategies. Social media and new communication platforms require companies to find new ways of managing communication internally as well as their relations with partners and customers. Planning, development, administration, and production are increasingly optimised through digital systems. In addition, organisations and the people who work within them must adapt to new ways of working, thinking and managing.

The bachelor's degree in business informatics can be completed as part-time distance learning with classroom lectures in Berlin, Friedrichshafen, Kassel, Leipzig and Munich. In this form of study, lectures take place on approximately 12 Saturdays per semester.
