23 BSc Degree Programs in Czech Republic

The aim of the study in the three-year programme Economic Policy and Public Administration is to prepare graduates equipped with the competences for qualified performance of an independent worker in the economic policy field, especially in the monetary field, in banking and insurance, in EU bodies and institutions, in state administration and self-government bodies, or in business management in the private sector.

Our Bachelor program Economics and Business Administration, major in Economics was opened in the academic year 2012/2013. We already have our first Alumni, who continue their study at Universities in the Czech Republic and all around Europe.

At the Faculty of Chemical Technology, students may focus their professional profiles towards specialized fields: the production and properties of metals, glass, or ceramic materials; plastics and rubber; biocompatible materials; and nano- or submicron-scale structured materials. Students can also focus on a more theoretical program exceeding the scope of the foundational program. During the course of the program, students choose one of three specializations offered.

The Faculty of Chemical Engineering enables students to study general chemical and chemical engineering disciplines that are applicable to a wide range of fields in science, chemical and biochemical technologies, and environmental protection issues.

The aim of the three-year study programme, Economy and Management, is to prepare graduates who understand the structure and functioning of any type of economy and are able to manage it using modern management methods. It is, therefore, the study of the management of the economy regardless of its size, affiliation to the private or public sector, profit or non-profit nature, legal form, national, international or transnational character, etc.

The Economics and Management Bachelor's program prepares students for professional work in international teams, analytical and entry-level managerial positions in industry, commerce, consulting, and public administration, as well as for continuing their studies in Master's degree programs worldwide.

Business Administration is a broad-based academic subject and a field of study with practical implications, offering the chance to develop related personal and technical skills. The aim of a programme in Business Administration is not to produce students who are fully-fledged managers, since this can only occur with genuine management experience.

The Economics and Management Bachelor's program prepares students for professional work in international teams, analytical and entry-level managerial positions in industry, commerce, consulting, and public administration, as well as for continuing their studies in Master's degree programs worldwide. Students may specialize either in Marketing or in International Trade.

The BSc study programme in Agriculture and Food is tailored for students who are interested in how food is actually made, what defines food quality in the chain from farm to fork.

This BSc program provides a theoretical background focusing on the sustainable use of natural resources and the protection of the environment. Emphasis is given to the understanding of the interaction between components of the biosphere, agriculture, horticulture, and landscape design. Students will obtain a general overview of the economic and legal context of the environment.

The bachelor's degree study branch Informatics that is being taught in English, prepares specialists in informatics mainly for professions where the information and communication technologies are exploited.

The aim of the bachelor's degree study branch Business Administration that is being taught in English, is to prepare the graduates for employment in entrepreneurial activities. They can perform economic, managerial, entrepreneurial, administrative and other duties within the domain of both national and international labour market.

The bachelor's degree study branch Economics and Management offer a field of study for those who are interested in this broad professional area. The study branch is being conceived inter-disciplinarily using the basics of economic and managerial disciplines, quantitative methods, ICT and social science disciplines.

Smart agriculture, virtual remote sensing labs and early warning systems for natural hazards are just a few examples of the growing number of environmental applications that capitalize on our data wealth.

Mastering marketing tools gives you a crucial edge in commercial communication. You’ll understand the operating rules of small and large companies and get an intro to online marketing and brand theory. From your first year of study, you’ll strengthen your communication and presentation skills. Our creative methods workshops will teach you to see seemingly isolated phenomena in context, tackle problems from different angles, generate and develop ideas, and communicate with impact.
